Locums Cardiovascular Surgery Physician Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Tenens Cardiovascular Surgery Physician Assistant to join our team in Syracuse, NY. This position involves providing comprehensive inpatient care to adult patients in a Level 2 Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cardiovascular surgery and be proficient in performing invasive procedures.Responsibilities include managing a daily patient volume of 8-10 patients and providing inpatient care exclusively. The Physician Assistant will be required to perform invasive lines, manage chest tubes, and first assist in cardiovascular surgeries. The role involves working a mix of varied shifts, with rotating 24-hour call and night call duties, including weekends and evenings as needed.
