General Surgery opening in NY Located in Syracuse, NY FT - (Perm and locums available) Position: Surgical Hospitalist Nocturnist (Full-Time) Immediate Opportunity: We are actively seeking a full-time Surgical Hospitalist Nocturnist to enhance our dynamic team. This role is also open for a short-term locum tenens arrangement. The successful candidate will be part of a premier surgical group, comprising 8 skilled surgeons. Key Features of the Role: Work Schedule: 7pm-7am, shared among 2-3 hospitalists with some flexibility in scheduling. Annual Surgical Volume: Approximately 170 surgeries. Primary Responsibilities: Managing inpatient consultations. Handling ER consults and admissions. Conducting urgent and emergent surgeries during the shift. Providing general surgery coverage for inpatients with backup support. No inpatient responsibilities post-shift; handover to daytime surgeon.
