Join a high-performing emergency medicine (EM) team at one of Texas' premier trauma centers. Del Sol
Medical Center - East is seeking an experienced and motivated assistant medical director (AMD) to
support clinical leadership, operational excellence, and team development within a busy Level II
Trauma Center. This role offers a balanced mix of clinical practice and leadership responsibility in
a growing, well-supported emergency department. About Del Sol Medical Center EastLevel II Trauma

Association: Internal medicine residents rotate through the EDAffiliated freestanding emergency
departments: Horizon and East379-bed hospitalLocated near University Medical Center for additional
trauma supportEmergency Department Overview34 ED beds designed for optimal patient flowAnnual ED
volume: ~60,000 visits2.0 patients per hour with a 15% admission rateDaily coverage: 49 hours of EM
physician coverage and 20 hours of APC coverageMedium-to-high acuity patient populationEMR:
MeditechHelipad available for rapid trauma transfersWhat We're Looking ForBoard-certified ABEM
physicianPrior leadership experience preferred (assistant director, lead physician, or similar
