Duties
Assists with daily operations, customer service, and recreational programming within the Community Center and Annex. Supports facility operations, gaming areas, movie theater activities, special events, and recreational programs while ensuring a safe, clean, organized, and welcoming environment for patrons. Provides direct customer support and assists staff with event setup, facility monitoring, and operational tasks. Greet patrons and provide professional customer service assistance. Monitor recreational areas to ensure compliance with facility rules and safety standards. Answer questions regarding programs, events, reservations, and facility usage. Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the facility. Provides information and accepts reservations, payments, items offered and assistance for the Community Center. Assist with setting up and breaking down for events, tournaments, movie nights, and recreational activities. Support gaming and entertainment activities including gaming pods, (LAN) events, and theater operations. Distribute equipment, supplies, and recreational materials to patrons. Assist with decorations, signage, seating arrangements, and room preparation for programs, events and conference room functions. Monitor gaming consoles, televisions, recreational equipment, and common-use areas. Report damaged equipment, safety concerns, and maintenance issues to supervisors. Assist with inventory counts and supply organization. Ensure gaming equipment and recreation areas remain orderly and operational. Assist with attendance tracking and customer sign-in procedures. Support staff with program preparation and operational tasks. Perform opening, closing, and general operational duties as assigned.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
Practical knowledge of recreational activities, rules and procedures. Strong customer service, communication, and computer skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic problem-solving and organizational skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced recreational environment. Dependable, punctual, and professional demeanor. Previous experience in customer service, recreation, hospitality, or entertainment environments, 1-year desirable experience. Ability to safeguard, maintain, and handle cash/payment methods. Skill in the use and maintenance of various recreational equipment, electronics, and facilities are desirable. Familiarity with gaming consoles, movie theater operations, or recreational facilities. Experience working in a military or community recreation setting preferred. Have skill to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Be able to speak, read, and write the English Language. Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules. Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment up to 40 pounds. Ability to interact professionally with customers of all ages and backgrounds.
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.
FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.

U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. Territory for three (3) or more consecutive years immediately preceding the start of Federal Affiliation or a signed memorandum indicating the installation's decision on the 3-year residency requirement.
