Section Chief South Texas VA Nuclear Medicine

• Clinical Expertise: You'll interpret studies, provide patient care, and ensure high-quality diagnostic services.
• Leadership: You'll oversee all aspects of Nuclear Medicine at STVHCS, including staff supervision, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

• Lead the Nuclear Medicine Section: You'll supervise physicians and technologists, ensuring a smooth-running department.
• Provide Top-Notch Patient Care: Your expertise in Nuclear Medicine will be essential for accurate diagnoses and treatment plans for our veterans.
• Promote Safety and Quality: You'll be responsible for maintaining a safe radiation environment and ensuring we meet all quality standards.

• Contribute to Education: You'll play a role in training medical students, residents, and technologists.

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent degree
• Current, full and unrestricted medical license in the U.S.
• Residency training in Nuclear Medicine (preferred)
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a staff radiologist (preferred)
• Leadership experience (preferred)
