Overview
Major Hospital is adding Hospitalist to our established team. The need is pressing but we
are willing to wait for the right physician. Routine admissions of the adult medical surgical.
critical care patient. Establishing effective plans of care with daily assessment and intervention
as well as the development of a safe, effective discharge transition. Large array of specialists
available for consult including cardiology, pulmonology, nephrology, infectious disease, GI,
neurology, etc.
Full-time
12-16 shifts per month
Average 12-15 patients per day
4-5 call days per
month, coinciding with scheduled shifts. Call involves mainly back-up for the full-time nocturnists
on duty

Solid Nurse: Patient ratios (zero use
of travel/agency staff), dedicated unit based Respiratory Therapists, Dietitians, Pharmacists,
PT/OT, RN Case Managers, Wound/Ostomy Care RNs, Hospice/Palliative Care RNs
