Job Description
Mercy Health invites a Board-Certified Colorectal Surgeon to join our General Surgery team in
Toledo, Ohio. This opportunity offers the chance to help shape and grow a colorectal subspecialty
service within a collaborative, well-supported surgical environment.
Whether you are early in your
career or bring years of experience, this role offers a meaningful blend of clinical practice,
collaboration, and program development. You’ll work closely with surgical, oncology, and
gastroenterology colleagues, supported by modern facilities and a strong infrastructure that allows
you to focus on delivering thoughtful, patient-centered care.
The Role
Join a collegial General
Surgery team with a strong multidisciplinary approach
Play an active role in the continued
development of a colorectal surgery service line
Provide comprehensive colorectal surgical care to
a diverse patient population
Participate in teaching and mentorship through the General Surgery
Residency Program
Enjoy a Monday–Friday schedule with dedicated time for clinic, procedures,
planning, and follow-up

Qualifications
Board-Certified General Surgeon
Fellowship training in Colorectal
Surgery
Board Certification in Colon and Rectal Surgery preferred
Interest in program
