Summary
About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the NAF Human Resources Office at Kirtland AFB, NM.
Position will be filled either as Flexible (guaranteed 00 hours/week) or Regular Part-Time (guaranteed 20.0 hours/week) employment category. Both categories can work up to 40 hours per week as mission requires.
Regular Part-Time employment category may be eligible for benefits such as Medical/Dental, Group Life, 401(k), and AFNAF Retirement.

Duties
Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs a variety of general office duties such as receiving telephone calls and visitors, routing and filing correspondence, sorting and distributing the mail, and providing routine support tasks within the NAF HR office. Performs records management tasks/responsibilities. Drafts outgoing correspondence. Operates a personal computer and office software programs to enter data, complete forms, and to assist applicants in applying for vacancies. Utilizes automated office equipment (i.e., copier, fax machine, or equivalent) in accomplishment of tasks. Makes copies, scans documents, uploads and files documents for casefile or recordkeeping purposes. Provides general information regarding position vacancies, application procedures, status on vacancies and requests, etc. May assist in providing recruitment and placement service to Nonappropriated Fund (NAF) activities. Refers inquiries about specific issues or actions to the appropriate assistant or specialist.

This position requires the incumbent to complete a Tier 3 (T3) background investigation with favorable results.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
This is an entry level position therefore no minimum qualifications are required.
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does allow for education substitution.
FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.

U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. Territory for three (3) or more consecutive years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation or a signed memorandum indicating the installation's decision on the 3-year residency requirement..
Male applicants born after December 31, 1959 must be registered for Selective Service.

A probationary period may be required.
Pre-employment requirements must be satisfactorily met prior to Entrance on Duty (EOD).
Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs is not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
