Summary
About the Position: This position is located at the 43rd AG Battalion, Office of the Commander, Reception Operations Center at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. The Fort covers more than 61,000 acres and is located in Pulaski County, Missouri. Bordering the installation to the North are the towns of Waynesville/St. Robert and Interstate 44.
This is a Temporary position NTE (Not to Exceed) 12 months.

- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- A fully qualified typist is required.
- The employee may be required to work overtime to include weekends and federal holidays, out of cycle, or on an emergency basis.
Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes performing progressively responsible clerical or office work pertaining to the initiation, review, and verification of personnel data for personnel entering the organization; and utilizing automation/computer equipment to correct errors and maintain required records. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
Additional Minimum Qualifications: This position requires a typing proficiency of at least 40 words per minute (WPM) based on a 5-minute sample with 3 or fewer errors.
