Ophthalmologist Needed - Outpatient Clinic & Surgery

Location: Connecticut (CT)Position: Locum Tenens - Ophthalmology Physician Start Date: As soon as credentialedCoverage Needed: 6+ shifts per month Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with call Weeknight Call: Monday-Thursday, 5:00 PM - 8:00 AM Weekend Call: Friday 5:00 PM - Monday 8:00 AM Worksite Setting: Outpatient clinic and surgery Newly built outpatient pavilion with state-of-the-art ophthalmology suite Convenient skywalk connecting the outpatient pavilion to the operating room Scope of Work: General Ophthalmology (OPH) and/or Optometry (OPT) Perform cataract surgeries and other ophthalmic surgical procedures Evaluate and surgically treat trauma cases Subspecialty focus in glaucoma is preferred Licenses, Certifications, & Requirements: Connecticut (CT) license preferred; Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) considered Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology (ABO) DEA license required EMR System: EPIC Additional Information:This position is part of a growing ophthalmology division that is expanding to meet the needs of the surrounding community.
