Position Overview
Skillsoft is seeking a talented Account Executive to join our Compliance Solution sales team to cover the Benelux region. The ideal person will be comfortable speaking to senior decision makers across different departments, including the CFO, General Legal Counsel, and other senior heads of Compliance, and will understand the key challenges faced with delivering compliance related programs to any organisation. You should be comfortable supporting this type of talk track and understand how our solutions can enable and support current and future projects and role-based requirements. This is a highly competitive area of our portfolio, so understanding our value wedge is essential.
Position Responsibilities
- This is a dual compensation role drive top-line revenue growth through new customer acquisition in prospect lists and expansion of compliance offerings within existing customer accounts.
- Sell our Compliance solutionsÂ
- Work as part of broader Account management team
- Own responsibility to meet and exceed revenue goals
- Win by representing a solution line with key competitive differentiatorsÂ
- Influence customers and prospects at senior leadership level
- Establish strategic plans and objectives to drive desired business growth
- Partner with other AE's, marketing and support resources in the successful advancement of critical opportunities and market penetration
- Develop a thorough understanding of Skillsoft sales plays related to the Speed of Technology and Aspire.Â
Desired Skills & Experience
- 3+ years successful sales experience in a compliance related environment
- Fluency in Dutch, French and English with German being advantageous.Â
- Strong understanding of regulatory landscape
- Successfully delivered against multi-million USD annual targets based on quarterly objectives.
- Experience selling directly to Compliance Heads across all areas of the enterprise
- Ability to exceed sales targets, a keen understanding of the steps involved in a sales cycle and ability to leverage each stage to advance the saleÂ
- Ability to prospect and manage a designated territory to maximize revenue growth Ability to operate with a sense of urgency, be aggressive, competitive, and demonstrate a positive, winning attitude
- Negotiate effectively based on value and time to close
- Ability to understand complex client requirements and to clearly articulate the company's offerings to develop solutions to meet those requirementsÂ

- Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communicator
- Bachelor degree in a compliance related subject – law, auditing, health and safety for example - or relevant work experience
