About this role
As an Account Executive you will act as Chief Executive of the Customer Account, partnering with our customers to create and enable a joint transformation and innovation vision. We look to you as a valued member of our innovative thought leadership team, who places the client first and brings together the right DXC team to drive sales growth, expand DXC's footprint, ensure profitable delivery and influence the customers strategy through Flywheel domain knowledge, industry knowledge, innovation and thought leadership.

What you will do

Build long-standing, trust-based relationships

• Establish self as a trusted advisor with the client C-suite through an in-depth understanding of the client as well as industry
• Build networks at DXC to be able to bring the best of DXC to the client

Drive customer value creation

• Understand the client's and buyer's business, strategy, priorities and leadership agenda.
• Co-create with the customer, articulate transformation and drive innovation agenda for the customer.
• Align the right teams or capabilities to enable (sell and deliver) successful transformation and innovation agenda.

Grow the business/account

• Drive sales, revenue and profitability.
• Responsible for account financials and key commercial processes.
• Help originate deals based on defined transformation story themes, Flywheel opportunities and commercial pathways. Drive innovative deal construct and solutioning to grow business.
• Build an account plan for targeted areas of work and be responsible for achievement of the annual account plan - with details of the relationships required, the opportunities to pursue, target revenues, competitor analysis, potential threats and weaknesses that need to be addressed.
• Delivery ownership and excellence.

Who you are

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, information technology or related field preferred
• Nine or more years of business solutions, technical consulting, or sales solutions experience
• Experience working with technology industry
• Experience working with technology products, services, competencies, solutions and offerings
• Experience working with solution/product portfolios
• Experience working with business environment, business industry and competitor products and services

• Strong verbal and written communication skills to persuade others through presentations, demonstration and written communication
• Strong communication skills to listen to client and articulate back for solutioning
• Strong selling and negotiation skills
• Good interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team
• members and prospective clients

• Ability to publicly represent company with internal and external clients
• Ability to use own judgment and initiative in problem resolution
• Ability to articulate and present the business value of company solutions
• Ability to present ideas, goals, problems, outcomes and processes to be
• understood by a diverse audience
• Ability to travel on short notice
• May require evening or weekend work
