As a Technical Sales Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in developing and building relationships in business and industry faced with catastrophic failures. The assessment and restoration of damaged technical equipment for companies, national, state, and local governments, large universities and public schools, manufacturing and energy companies, scientific laboratories, hospitals will save our clients the costs of purchasing new equipment and of extended downtime-and give them the confidence to move forward.

  • Positively and credibly influence facility restoration companies, insurance carriers and adjusters, and consultants to utilize AREPA's services.
  • Creates competitive, high-quality, and timely estimates, bids, proposals, and cost/benefit analyses for the preparation and review of the proposal; determines price and selling strategy.
  • Effectively writes, presents, and communicates bids.
  • Negotiating, navigating the closing process, and asking for the order
  • Assists customers in answering technical questions on AREPA's services, AREPA team and materials mobilization alternatives, and problem resolution.
  • Develops relationships with multiple buying influences in the customer's organization, including adjusters, owners, project managers, project engineers, construction, purchasing, and accounts payable.
  • Determines project needs, constraints, and responsibilities to meet customer's requirements including project timing.
  • Enters data and generates reports.
  • Participates in speaking engagements and presentations in front of large groups (>100).

Essential expertise to ensure success:

  • 2+ years of experience in sales to the commercial carrier insurance industry
  • 5+ years of proven success selling technical/industrial products and/or services.
  • Experience negotiating contracts and closing sales.
  • Strong understanding of electrical/mechanical equipment
  • Worked in or around manufacturing for >5 years.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% overnight (Road Warrior)
  • Quick learner of new processes and the ability to convert these to AREPA services.
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) type software (Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, etc.) experience

Elevated expertise to excel/stand-out:

  • BS in Engineering or Manufacturing preferred.
