Accounting Manager

The Opportunity

 Found Health Inc. is looking to hire an Accounting Manager to join our growing Accounting team. This role will report into the Assistant Controller and will support a range of accounting responsibilities, from Accounts Payables to supporting monthly close activities. You will play a crucial role in implementing system enhancements to streamline current processes, and will have opportunities to participate in special cross-functional projects. This role is a perfect fit for candidates with a passion in accounting looking to broaden their business and operational acumen.

• The Accounting Manager will be responsible for collectively driving the month-end process and enhancement of financial statement preparation and internal review process.
• The ideal candidate should have substantive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, practices, processes, and procedures and will be involved in laying the foundation of a scalable accounting function.
• Perform month-end close assignments, including preparation of journal entries, balance sheet and income statement account reconciliations, supporting schedules, and analysis on variances.
• Manage accounts payable process ensuring timely vendor payments, employee expense reimbursements, vendor maintenance, and annual 1099 filing.
• Help to develop and advance company-wide procedures, policies, internal controls, and documentation to ensure consistency and clarity in business operations.
• Support scaling our processes through automation by working on system implementations and enhancements.
• Perform other special projects, historical research, and financial analysis and any additional duties as assigned.
• Liaise with internal business partners and cross-functional teams to gather data, improve processes, and support business needs.

• 7+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA preferred
• AP, AR, fixed assets & month end close experience
• Experience with multiple entities' financials
• Proactive team player who fosters positive team environment
• Experience to supervise, train, and mentor accounting staff as needed
• Working knowledge of ERP/accounting systems including QuickBooks, NetSuite, Bill.com, Expensify
• Strong Excel skills, and working knowledge of Google applications

• Proven ability to successfully manage projects and timelines, organize/track complex information, prioritize accordingly, and the ability to quickly adjust to shifting priorities and demanding timelines when necessary
• Experience in public accounting and working with publicly traded companies a plus
