What Is Your Impact?
The Actuarial Analyst is responsible for supporting Actuarial Management.
What Are Your Key Responsibilities?• Support and analyze activities related to the Direct Pay, Local Group and National Accounts Market Segments and all lines of business.• Increase knowledge of actuarial science and insurance theory & practice, progressing to the FSA designation.• Rate analysis and development.• Forecast/variance analysis and reporting.• Claim trend analysis.• The essential functions listed represent the major duties of this role, additional duties may be assigned.
The IDEAL candidate will:• Have strong analytical and technical skills to manipulate data and solve problems.• Be proactive and have the initiative to be innovative, obtain results, and improve processes.• Have strong attention to detail to produce quality output.• Be an effective verbal and written communicator with the ability to work independently and/or within a team.
What Is REQUIRED?• Related Bachelor's degree required Math/Statistics or related degree• Completion of at least 1 SOA EXAM• 0-1 years of successful Actuarial experience
What is PREFERRED?• Background in health field or insurance field• Previous Actuarial experience or internship in an Actuarial area• SAS, SQL, and other programming language experience • Minimum GPA of 3.2 • Completion of college-level courses on micro and macroeconomics, introductory corporate finance, and applied statistical methods

Annualized Salary Range:$66,400 - $107,900
Typical Annualized Hiring Range: $66,400 - $83,000
Final pay will be determined with consideration of market competitiveness, internal equity, and the job-related knowledge, skills, training, and experience you bring.
