Actuarial Technician, ALM

Job Summary

The Actuarial Technician assists the Actuarial Asset/Liability Modeling team with the production of multiple asset/liability projections reflecting various assumptions. The Actuarial Technician will support all phases of the asset/liability projection process, with an emphasis on non-actuarial technical work.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare data for use in projection models.
• Preapre models for projection runs and launch model projection jobs.
• Manage model output.
• Produce reports and supporting information for analysis memos and other presentations.
• Execute and document controls.
• Actively engage in continuous improvements for both process and reporting.
• Other functions as needed.

Experience and Education Requirements

• Bachelors Degree preferred. Preferrably in Mathematics, Finance, Computer Science, Actuarial Science or other related technical field.
• Experience in Financial Services Industry preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Access, Word, Powerpoint, Teams, SharePoint) preferred.
• Experience with financial projection models preferred.
