Why We Need You;

PagerDuty is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Administrative Assistant to join the People team; who thrives in a fast-paced dynamic environment, partnering with the Assistant to the Chief People Officer. 

You are a meticulous and highly organized administrative partner who has experience in calendaring, travel planning, event coordination, and some project management. The role is demanding, but the team is collaborative and believes strongly in building a partnership.

How You Impact Our Vision; Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain all aspects of VP-level calendars and schedules.
  • Liaise with external and internal Executives, Executive Assistants, and PagerDuty employees.
  • Perform and prioritize an array of multiple administrative tasks, meet deadlines and maintain high-quality attention to detail.
  • Plan, coordinate and execute all types of meetings and events, including preparation of meeting materials, presentations, agendas and note taking.
  • Maintain travel itineraries and manage expense reimbursement process to ensure accurate and timely submission.
  • Provide and/or coordinate outreach, detailed data, information and resources in preparation for internal meetings.
  • Build efficiency and effective responsiveness into existing operations, and help define new operational strategies.
  • Prepare and develop Google Slides presentations, create and coordinate meeting agendas, and documents in Google Sheets and Docs.
  • Build excellent relationships inside and outside of PagerDuty.

Minimum Requirements:

  • You have 2-3 years of administrative and/or coordination experience supporting multiple executives, preferably in a fast-paced high-tech environment.
  • You have a positive outlook with a sense of humor; and remain unflappable in all situations.
  • You are a continuous learner with the ability to pick up new concepts quickly.
  • You exercise tact and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • You are approachable, welcoming, and a trusted professional.
  • Ability to achieve goals and craft processes/structure in a fast-paced environment.
  • You have excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills.
  • You are adaptable and creative in a dynamic distributed environment.
  • Master multitasker; you can handle multiple tasks/projects while maintaining a highly professional attitude.
  • Self-starter; you can take even the smallest project and run with it to successful completion.
  • Full comprehension of office management systems and procedures, with the ability to stay abreast of new tools and technologies.
