We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced AEM Developer to join our team.

This role will be based out of our Durham, NC office. A hybrid work schedule is required (likely 3 days in the office, or as needed). Relocation assistance is available. C2C is NOT available for this role.

Responsibilities

• Support web-related systems as member of this team with a variety of front (and occasional back-end) coding responsibility.
• Develop quality code that is well-documented, testable, and production ready.
• Understand and implement business requirements - from the development of new components and features to systems integration and complex user interfaces.
• Understand/support lead generation and interaction goals of the web marketing team.
• Work with scrum master on project priority, providing feedback on status and blockers.
• Take initiative to research and learn emerging technologies when asked.
• Work with other developers, system engineers, and QA engineers throughout the product development, testing, and implementation phases to ensure product integrity.
• Stay current on technical advancements and suggest ways to streamline tasks and processes for efficiency.
• Be passionate about building web solutions that are resilient, secure and scalable to function in a global, 24/7 intensive business environment
• Interacting with Marketing stakeholders and understanding how to turn non-technical business goals into concrete development action items

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 5+ years software engineering experience, with broad understanding of web principles and technologies.
• 3+ years working with REACT
• 3+ years working with an object-oriented server language (Java, C#, etc.)
• 2+ years ES6 development creating simple interactive web applications.
• 2+ years HTML/CSS (SASS) creation.
• 2+ years using RESTful APIs.
• Familiar with responsive development (Bootstrap a plus).
• Experience with GIT (Jenkins a bonus).
• Track record of accurate task breakdown/estimation, unit testing, and delivering on time and in scope.
• Experience using project tracking software (Jira a bonus).
• Experienced in Agile development and comfortable in a Scrum team.
