WP Engine is looking for a motivated Agency Development Representative for the Agency Growth Team that has experience in establishing, fostering and managing relationships.
Those relationships should uncover opportunities to deploy WP Engine solutions through inbound business development and lead generation.

As an Agency Development Representative, you are the first point of contact for our customers and responsible for generating opportunity volume and warm introductions for our Agency Portfolio Management teams.

It is your role to acquire, grow, and retain agency partners.
The Day To Day
  • Properly research and catalog contact, account and opportunity information.
  • Generate outbound leads as well handle inbound leads to consistently overachieve a monthly opportunity quota.
  • Expand relationships with prospective agencies, allowing them to understand the full advantage of our WordPress solutions.
  • Work as part of the Agency Growth Team with a focus on the initial relationship development.
  • Use effective sales techniques to uncover those customer needs that can be addressed through our solutions.
  • Articulate the benefits of using our solutions to prospective customers across a broad array of industries.

Expertise and Passions
  • Previous sales experience is a plus including exposure to Solution Selling, Customer-Centric Selling, Sandler, or SPIN strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com or other CRM applications is preferred.
  • Daring and performance driven mentality.
  • Consistent over-achievement and work ethic.
  • The ability to learn quickly and be a self-starter are vital to this role.
  • Effectively lead prospect/client expectations.
  • Ability to effectively communicate over the phone, chat and email.
  • Ability to quickly qualify potential WP Engine clients.
