 OVERVIEW
This Senior Sales Executive will manage relationships with Instacartâs Holding Company advertising agency partners. You will partner with cross functional teams to align on CPG advertiser and Agency priorities and deliver on targets. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, can work in a fast-paced growing company, and has experience in agency ad sales, CPG, and programmatic.
ABOUT THE JOB
- Business centric mindset and understanding of client goals for succeeding in a rapidly growing e-commerce space
- Deliver on individual and team sales goals
- Develop sales collateral, case studies, and custom âstoriesâ to translate benefits of Instacartâs platform to CPG advertisersÂ
- Develop and maintain relationships with Holding Co advertising agencies Â
- Build executive level relationships and deploy scaled initiatives to ensure alignment across Instacart positioning and products
- Create data-backed proposals for up to multi-million dollar JBP contracts for digital advertising
- Solutions oriented champion for Instacart inside these agencies
- Lead annual planning and budgeting process with agenciesÂ
- Negotiate and manage master services agreementsÂ
- Partner with sales, insights, analytics, product and engineering teams to shape the future of our advertising products Â
ABOUT YOU
- 5-10 years experienceÂ
- Search auction understanding and experienceÂ
- Commercial/financial and data based thinkerÂ
- Client relationship builder with executive presenceÂ
- Understanding of CPG, Programmatic & Agency Industry
- Ability to stay calm in dynamic, rapidly-changing environments
Soft Skills
- Client presence and persuasiveness
- Metrics orientation - can get up to speed on search/ad metrics quickly
- Client service orientation - fast follow ups, general sense of urgencyÂ
- Great storyteller when building decks
- Must be open to travelÂ
