Agile Product Management Advisor (work from home)
Job Description
As an Agile Product Management Advisor supporting Cigna Technology Operations Services, you will have an opportunity to enable meaningful change that drives product excellence via use of Agile practices. You will partner with business and technology stakeholders to manage criteria based intake of work. Lead the decomposition and prioritization of work to create and maintain metric based development backlogs. You will also be a change agent driving continuous improvement as you partner with technology teams to deliver outcomes with maximum business value using agility and representing the "voice of the customer".

This is an Individual Contributor role. The position may be located in the United States as a work at home opportunity, or in one of our many office locations, as offices reopen.
Essential Functions:
• Work Initiation - validates and coordinates requests from the customer as related to their requirements, hardware and software needs.
• Collaborate with agile team to build and manage the backlog of features and capabilities that deliver desired business impact.
• Writes actionable user stories and prioritizes them into a ranked work queue based on value, customer need and production impact.
• Proactively resolve dependencies and resolve conflict effectively across teams for business initiatives.
• Manages communications with stakeholders - addresses team intake and delivery process questions, requested work elaboration, status of work in process, and delivery expectations.
• Drives process improvements through an understanding of the Product/Service team delivery method and Agile methodology.
• Key partner in advancing Agile maturity of the Product team.
• Understand key business objectives and strategy of the product(s) they support
• Work with business owners to ensure that they are engaged and supportive of direction reflected in the roadmap
• Maintain and refine the inflow of work to the team (product backlog).
• Assist the team with decomposing features into user stories and acceptance criteria
• Assess business value and prioritizes all stories to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that align with strategy
• Attend team and program ceremonies (e.g. Daily Stand-up, Iteration Planning, Iteration Review, PI Planning, Demos)
Experience and Qualifications:
• In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills including meeting facilitation
• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required
• 2-4 years of relevant experience
• Ability to manage time and workload effectively which includes planning, organizing, and prioritizing with attention to details
• High degree of comfort in a fast-paced / ambiguous environment
• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
• Self-directed, requires minimal supervision
• Creative thinker with ability to drive the team to a vision
• Technical background with knowledge of software development.
• Experience in the following tools is desirable - Agile (JIRA/Rally), collaboration tools (Confluence, SharePoint, HipChat, etc), and Visio.
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $85,400 - $142,400, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
