Agile Product Owner Senior Advisor - MHK - Remote

The Agile Product Owner represents the "voice of the customer" at the team level to ensure that the team is delivering work that maximizes business value and delivers necessary fixes and functionality to all customers. They must have strong business skills and experience, with either some past experience working with technology teams, or the ability and interest to learn how to work with technology teams. Focuses on providing thought leadership and technical expertise across multiple disciplines. Recognized internally as "the go-to person" for the most complex assignments.

Success will be achieved through strong, proactive partnerships with Business Operations, Technology Delivery teams, Compliance and vendor partners.

Responsibilities

• Partners with Business Operations, Technology, Compliance, and MHK to identify new requirements for business process improvement.
• Embodies a product mindset to drive customer collaboration and software quality, and leads team and stakeholders in navigating change.
• Identifies and documents business and technical requirements.
• Defines clear and concise acceptance criteria by leading cross-functional experts from data evaluation through to sign-off.
• Participates in the innovation process representing customer insights/needs, brainstorming/out of the box thinking to identify solutions, developing concepts and delivering results.
• Provides product direction and serves as the voice of the customer for the team.
• Ensures stakeholders are knowledgeable of new and/or changes in priorities on a timely basis and equipped to deliver value proposition and key differentiating points.
• Drives resolution of issues related to user story delivery, escalating when appropriate.
• Provides guidance and mentorship to other Product Owners.
• Supports team in defining minimally-marketable features to obtain commitment during Release Planning.
• Fully understands customer needs, turns customer insights into action, and provides key input to the feature roadmap.
• Supports other related activities not specifically stated.

• Proven ability to independently navigate areas and manage projects that are outside current area of expertise.

• Experience working in diverse disciplines within Cigna or equivalent healthcare industry experience

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 104,000 - 173,400 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
