AI Engineer

We are seeking an AI Engineer to join our team of over 60 software engineers, designers, and makers that have been working together for over 15 years. As a top Information Technology and Services provider, 99x Americas (formerly Nextly) creates scalable tech solutions for companies in North America and Europe. The AI Engineer will work alongside this talented team to develop, implement, and fine-tune LLMs to meet our client's business needs.

● Prompt Engineering & Optimization: Develop, test, and refine prompts for our AI models to ensure high-quality and contextually relevant outputs that meet our application requirements.

● Embedding Models Development: Implement and improve embedding techniques for both images and text, leveraging deep learning models to create high-dimensional vector representations that enable efficient similarity and relevance matching.

● NLP & Computer Vision Integration: Apply advanced NLP and computer vision techniques to improve prompt responses and embeddings, supporting the model’s accuracy and flexibility in a variety of use cases.

● Data Curation & Training: Collaborate with the data team to curate datasets for training and fine-tuning, optimizing models with real-world data for enhanced prompt performance and embedding accuracy.

● Model Evaluation & Experimentation: Conduct A/B tests, model evaluations, and qualitative assessments to improve prompt outcomes and embedding quality continually.

● Collaboration with Product Teams: Work closely with product managers and designers to understand application requirements, user needs, and business goals to guide prompt optimization and embedding improvements.

● Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest in NLP, prompt engineering, embeddings, and AI ethics to recommend new techniques and ensure our models follow best practices.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's or Master’s in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related field.
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in NLP, machine learning, and/or computer vision, with a strong focus on prompt engineering or embeddings.
• Proficiency in Python and deep learning libraries (e.g., PyTorch).
• Experience with NLP frameworks (e.g., Hugging Face Transformers, spaCy, OPENAI) and embedding techniques (e.g., word2vec, BERT, CLIP).
• Familiarity with vector databases and similarity search (e.g., MongoDB, Pinecone).
• Knowledge of data cleaning, augmentation, and model evaluation techniques.
