Your Role and Responsibilities
We’re looking for a talented researcher to join our AI in Healthcare and Life Sciences department at IBM Research – Israel. This role offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that leverage deep learning technologies for drug design and mechanism discovery.## Key Responsibilities- Develop novel machine learning methods to analyze molecular and genomic data
– Create predictive and generative DL-based algorithms for discovering new drug targets and generating therapeutic molecules
– Contribute to our open-source tools and create reusable code ( https://github.com/BiomedSciAI )
– Collaborate with a diverse team of researchers and international clients

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
– Masters degree or doctorate in Computer Science or related fields
– Strong background in Machine Learning Deep Learning or Generative Models
– Strong software development skills including proficiency in languages such as Python C++ or Java
– Experience with software engineering best practices version control and collaborative development
– Passion for applying AI technologies to solve real-world problems in healthcare
– Experience with drug discovery or bioinformatics is a plus
