AI IT & FinOps Intern

• Maintain an inventory of AI products models licenses pilots and business use cases in use across the company
• Analyze AI spend at the product vendor project and token or credit level and help explain cost drivers
• Build and support reports and dashboards to track AI utilization budget versus actuals forecasting assumptions and savings or productivity impact
• Support ROI analyses and business cases for AI productivity projects including baseline metrics and post-launch measurement
• Identify optimization opportunities such as model tiering license right-sizing prompt efficiency workflow design and vendor consolidation
• Partner with IT Finance and business stakeholders to support planning budgeting and responsible AI operations
• Create documentation quick-start guides and training materials that help employees use approved AI tools effectively and responsibly
• Document AI use cases pricing assumptions dependencies governance requirements and key decisions for cross-functional review
• Prepare recommendations and presentations for leadership on AI spend trends forecast updates risks and optimization actions

• Enrolled in Finance Business Analytics Information Systems Computer Science Economics Data Analytics or a related program
• Strong analytical quantitative and problem-solving skills are required
• Strong customer service stakeholder partnership and communication skills
• Advanced experience with Excel or Google Sheets; experience with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
• Experience building presentations summaries and reports for non-technical audiences
• Familiarity with BI or data tools such as Power BI Tableau SQL or Python preferred
• Interest in AI tools AI productivity use cases and responsible AI practices preferred
• Ability to learn AI pricing concepts such as tokens credits licenses and unit cost drivers
• Interest in budgeting forecasting vendor spend analysis or ROI modeling
• Strong attention to detail and comfort working with structured and unstructured data
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a flexible fast-paced environment
• Curiosity initiative and enthusiasm for helping teams get better business value from AI
