About the Group:
TRP Diagnostics and Prognostics - ALGOLiON group focus is developing and releasing the Earliest warning battery hazard detection and prevention software . The group uses ALGOLiON (formerly Israel-based battery software startup and today integral part of GM-Israel) novel algorithms which take data streams from battery management systems to identify anomalies in battery cell performance that may impact the performance of a battery pack or the safety of a vehicle.

About the Role:
We are looking for an algorithm developer student who will engage in algorithms and software development in the field of battery warning and hazard detection.
What Will You Do:
- Be part of a team that researches, develops, and maintains end-to-end algorithmic solutions in collaboration with software teams, from concept to released software in the vehicle or cloud.
- Conduct algorithm and simulation implementation, including testing and validating performance with real vehicle data in a real-time environment.
- Analyze large amount of collected data to discover trends and patterns.
- Work with global teams with experts in the field of batteries.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):
- M.Sc. student in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science.
- Approximately two years left until the degree is completed.
- Available for two or more days each week.
- Track record of excellence.
- Proficiency in Python development.
- Self-fast-learner, mathematics skills, great communicational skills, team player, and details-driven character.
- Fluent in English both written and verbally.
What Can Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiar with programming skills in C.
- Knowledge with electric and power engineering and batteries management concepts.
