This role offers a strategic leadership opportunity to drive wholesale sales across a designated region while building strong relationships with channel partners, distributors, contractors, and engineering firms. You will be responsible for executing area sales strategies, expanding market share, and achieving revenue and profitability goals. This position combines high-level sales strategy with hands-on engagement, including technical product presentations, market intelligence analysis, and partner development. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership to implement initiatives that enhance market penetration, new product adoption, and partner effectiveness. The role requires a proactive, results-driven approach, with a focus on complex problem-solving, market insights, and driving measurable business growth. Accountabilities:
- Drive sales of products, services, and solutions through wholesale channel partners and distributors to achieve revenue, margin, and market share goals
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, channel partners, contractors, and engineering firms in the assigned region
- Execute and track company initiatives, new product launches, and technical programs to improve market penetration and sales performance
- Collaborate with senior leadership to shape area forecasts, sales strategies, and long-term business plans
- Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and business intelligence to recommend actionable strategies for growth and profitability
- Lead and deliver product and system training, supporting partner education and adoption of solutions
- Monitor wholesale channel effectiveness and track performance against assigned targets
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (significant experience may be accepted in lieu of degree)
- 10+ years of high-level sales experience with significant area responsibilities
- 5+ years of sales agency and HVAC industry experience
- Proven success in multiple channel wholesale sales, managing relationships with senior-level engineers and contractors
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to present complex products and troubleshoot solutions
- High level of financial and business acumen, with the ability to translate corporate growth goals into area sales strategies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Business Intelligence software, and Dynamics
- Excellent verbal, written, and public presentation skills, especially with C-Suite executives
- Willingness to travel extensively (70%+) and reside in the assigned region (Northeast: MA, RI, VT, CT, NH, NY, NJ, MD, PA, VA, W VA)
- Competitive base salary of $108,421–$151,789 USD, with full compensation based on experience and certifications
