Job Description

Primary Function of Position

Working closely with Asia Finance & Sales Operations manager, global peers and other function leadership in Asia, the Asia FP&A Analyst proactively performs detailed analytical functions to provide financial insights for business partners to allocate company resource for the faster growth of da Vinci business in Asia and to enhance cost effectiveness.

The role requires both big picture/out of box thinking and detail-oriented mindset to deliver factbased insights along with continuous process improvement attitude. This role is highly connected with business as well as Sales operations function, potential career opportunities go to business function or sales operations function to deliver insightful analytics driving sales efficiency.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Monthly financial close call to deliver up-to date business performance analytics as well as forward looking conditions
• Forecast quarterly business result to identify any risk of off track ahead and work closely with sales & marketing leadership for delta management
• Serve as a partner/consultant for all functions to allocate business resources driving company growth
• Highlight financial risks and opportunities proactively to leadership operating business smoothly and accelerating business growth
• Works with other FP&A colleagues in Asia to share and learn best practice to build Asia financial foundation as best in class
• Collaborate with global finance colleagues to make financial process more effective and efficient
• Respond to ad hoc requests in a timely manner

Qualifications

Core Competencies, Skills, and Experience Requirements

• MS Excel/PP skills required.
• English communication capability required
• Finance/Accounting background is preferred
• SAP and Anaplan or other ERP experienced preferred
• Strong compliance awareness
• Revenue analytics/Cost analytics experience is plus
• SQL skills/experience is plus
• Working knowledge/experience of tableau/SFDC is plus
• Team-oriented, good Interpersonal skill, attention to detail, and ability to handle multi-tasks
• Self-starter: Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast paced environment with minimal supervision
• Test Passion for driving da Vinci business and desire to build a career in the medical device industry
