Assistant Electrical Project Manager / Estimator

Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Electrical Project Manager / Estimator to assist with overseeing and managing electrical projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a background in electrical estimating, electrical engineering and/or project management experience, with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks effectively. This role requires in construction site management and the ability to read blueprints, ensuring that all projects are executed safely, on time, and within scope. Duties • Assist with managing electrical projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. • Coordinate with various stakeholders including clients, contractors, and team members to facilitate project success. • Assist with developing detailed project schedules and ensure timely completion of all phases of the project. • Utilize Bluebeam for efficient project documentation and collaboration. • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. • Oversee system design and implementation, ensuring all electrical systems meet industry standards. • Review blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of electrical installations. • Prepare regular project updates for stakeholders, highlighting milestones achieved and any potential risks. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred. • Proven experience in project management within the construction industry. • Strong knowledge of electrical systems design and construction management principles. • Proficiency in Bluebeam or similar project management software. • Experience with Accubid a plus. • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective stakeholder engagement. • Familiarity with project scheduling tools and techniques. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
