Job Details:

Job Summary: Assist the Art Department in the creation of a wide range of art styles including but not limited to content ranging from Concept art, Photo manipulation, UI content, Vector art, Illustrations, Diagrams, Marketing materials, Storyboards, and 3D assets including environments, models, props, and textures. This position will have you constantly moving onto varied themes that need to be captured in a variety of 2D and 3D art forms. This position typically works under close supervision and direction.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with a variety of engineers, artists, designers, and project professionals to help support of the visual and technical designs for many different product lines.
  • Help maintain and update our asset repository in keeping within specifications (naming schemes, file paths, engine builds, asset performance, etc.).
  • Assist the Art Department in the creation art content ranging from Concept art, Photo manipulation, UI content, Vector art, Illustrations, Diagrams, Marketing materials, Storyboards, and 3D assets including environments, models, props, and textures.
  • Work with Designers and Engineers to help implement art assets into products.
  • Support the product development pipeline and asset repository by validating assets created by outsourcing firms, as well as in-house and help implement assets into products.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Two-year college degree in an art related discipline. Must possess a basic understanding of the 2D and/or 3D applications used on a daily basis and good understanding of art pipelines and production workflows. Should have strong traditional art skills - drawing, painting, sculpting, etc. Strong art portfolio is required. Must have proficiency using Autodesk Suite and Adobe Master Collection. Must have experience using Unity and Unreal editors. Must have demonstrable experience modeling, texturing, lighting, and shading 3D objects and terrains and creating visual effects. Must have understanding of lighting concepts and ability to light environments. Must be able to prioritize, complete multiple tasks simultaneously and work under tight deadlines. Must communicate effectively, both verbally and in written form. Must be able to take art direction and critiques, as well as work closely with a team. Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance.
