What you'll do here:
The Associate Digital Content Manager is part of the National Geographic Learning team. This position acts as a strategic project manager overseeing the creation and delivery of digital content through the execution of complex project schedules. The Associate Digital Content Manager manages dependencies for all program components, creates risk-mitigation plans, and demonstrates leadership during the implementation and execution of the plan.
The ideal candidate will have a strong project management experience, knowledge of English language instructional content and core principles, excellent communication skills, a technical acumen, and the ability to drive a project forward through any obstacle.
Skills you will need here:
- Ability to manage multiple simultaneous digital projects with shared assets and timing dependencies on schedule.
- Technical acumen and familiarity with curriculum authoring tools.
- Navigates project roadblocks with flexibility/adaptability; seeks to resolve with urgency.
- Demonstrates strong leadership skills collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Balances thinking and planning with action.
- Highly organized with a deliberate attention to details.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2+ years digital project management, product management or education publishing experience.
- Proficiency with Smartsheets or other project management tools.
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
