The Associate Director, Digital Production serves as the lead in the content production process for multi-language projects, working closely and collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver against product roadmaps. This person's primary focus will initially be on Spanish initiatives, but will evolve to include more languages as the company's target markets expand.
Responsibilities:
  • Build and manage a team of bilingual producers and vendors that can accommodate content production requests across multiple languages.
  • Mentor direct reports to define career goals and foster their development.
  • Ensure clear workflows, roles, and responsibilities amongst direct reports.
  • Educate and train new and current staff on best practices.
  • Provide translation, editorial, and content creation expertise and services.
  • Aggregate and distill input from stakeholders, developing best practices for incorporating feedback into project executions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to help guide strategic decisions around multi-language products and projects, including resourcing, timelines, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and align language-specific glossaries and style guides that allow for content flexibility while adhering to company guidelines.
  • Develop efficient production workflows that minimize risks while maximizing quality.
  • Establish and implement maintenance of relevant project and product documentation.
  • Facilitate aggressive timelines and proactively address bottlenecks.
  • Ensure efficient and timely production of all project deliverables.
  • Develop and implement quality-control practices that ensure translated content adheres to source materials and house style without compromising pedagogy, readability and intent to the end user.
  • Identify new opportunities for improving Amplify's multi-language products while advocating for the growth of team roles and responsibilities.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Spanish language proficiency
  • BA/BS or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a translation and editorial role
  • 5+ years of experience in a digital media production role, with a history of successfully delivering digital products
  • Excellent organization skills; creativity and objective-oriented focus
  • Experience in project planning and tracking applications
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience with full project lifecycles, from concept to delivery
  • Experience with asset and content management systems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong managerial and team leading skills
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of CSS, HTML and XML
  • Experience with Agile software development
  • Experience with digital content strategy, production and development
  • Experience working in education

What we offer:
Salary is only one component of the Amplify Total Rewards package, which includes a lucrative 401(k) plan, incentive stock options, competitive health insurance and mental health options, basic life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and access to best-in-class development programs. The gross salary range for this role is $105,000 - $115,000. This role is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus that rewards individual and company performance.
