The following position is to join our Corporate or Research Center Team:

Raytheon Technologies (RTX) has an opening for an Associate Director, Employee Services Technical Lead (Associate Director, Business Systems and Transformation) in Enterprise Application Services (EAS) to help understand, develop, and support the technical and business solutions necessary for the successful execution of our enterprise solutions. Two primary roles are expected of the EAS Employee Services Technical Lead: systems administration guidance and technical leadership.

As a technical leader, lead critical enterprise application projects, fostering innovation and best practices, technical mentoring of junior technical staff. Responsibilities will cross technical and leadership spectrums; while being able to demonstrate great technical breadth and depth in serving as the technical point-of-contact for his or her assigned enterprise applications; communicate effectively and influence those within and outside the organization and collaborate with architecture, security, and other corporate functions to drive understanding, adoption, and consistency in the utilization of best practices, automation, and technology.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Typically a minimum of 12+ years of applicable experience developing and supporting technical solutions for complex IT systems, demonstrating a high degree of ingenuity and resourcefulness and a bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree; Advanced Degree and 10+ years related work experience
• Experience in the development of detailed system designs, concept of operations, and deployment options for enterprise applications
• Demonstrated expertise in detailed system design in infrastructure technologies including server operating systems, server hardware, computer systems, enterprise-class storage, physical and virtual network components, VMware-based virtualization, cloud services, and encryption.
• Strong understanding of Windows and Linux/Unix operating systems, associated technologies, and interoperability
• Ability to clearly articulate complex ideas, processes, and technical data in written, graphical, and verbal mediums to technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate, influence, and lead others collaboratively and constructively
• Track record of strong analytical and problem determination/resolution skills
• US citizen

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience reviewing ongoing operations and rectifying issues
• Experience with Ansible, PowerShell, or related scripting
• Excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills
• Willing to learn new technologies and stay on top of industry trends
• AWS and Azure experience or certification
• CISSP certification

Required Education:

Typically a bachelor's degree in computer science, technology, engineering or mathematics or related discipline or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree

The salary range for this role is $107,000.00 to $225,000.00; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
