Associate Director, Media Tech

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the timely and flawless launch of every digital marketing campaign at launch.
  • Proactively anticipate issues and make sure the team is aware of repercussions if issues are not rectified prior to launch.
  • Ensure all tracking parameters in place and set up QA’d. 
  • Work with Junior MediaTech Developer, IT, Media, and Web Development team as a product manager to rebuild digital trafficking automation system
• Develop digital media campaign measurement implementation process for the agency
  • Strategize with analytics and media team on where to place conversion pixels on the client’s site to ensure KPIs are met and campaign health can be accurately tracked
  • Lead pixel placement process
    • Work with client to ensure they are implemented correctly
    • This includes testing all conversion pixels once they have been placed on the site
    • Ensure all vendor pixels are implemented correctly
      • Work with any vendors necessary to ensure proper tracking is in place
      • QA all pixels placed on the client’s site periodically to ensure they continue to function properly for the duration on the campaign
    • Troubleshoot tracking issues with Media and Analytics
• Function as subject matter expert of the Advertising Technology industry.
  • Write POVs and provide thought leadership on the following
  • Tracking methodology changes in advertising industry
    • Ex: ITP 2.0, 2023 Google Cookie Deprecation
  • Regulatory Environment
    • GDPR, CCPA
  • Updates and changes of the ad serving and verification platforms
    • Ad Verification: DV, IAS, MOAT
    • Ad Serving Platforms: CM, Sizmek
    • Social Media Platforms: Meta, Snapchat, TikTok, Pinterest
    • DCO Vendors: Flashtalking, Innovid, Celtra
    • Website Measurement Platforms: Google Analytics, Adobe
    • Tag Management Tools: Google Tag Manager, Signal

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of Google Campaign Manager
• Strong knowledge of Google Tag Manager
• Strong understanding of ad verification partners and practices
• Understanding of data collection practices
• Understanding of real time bidding platforms
• Understanding of social media platforms
• Understanding of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
• Working knowledge of product development
