As Associate Director, Paid Search you will…

Be Accountable and Responsible

As our Associate Director, Paid Search you will be responsible for leading Paid Search strategy and implementation for one or more clients. You will be a subject matter expert on Paid Search platforms, trends, and best practices, capable of monitoring industry activity, and identifying opportunities. Working with a cross-functional team comprised of Account, Creative, Media, and Technology resources, s/he will lead platform approach as well as content development and distribution and community management across a variety of Paid Search platforms (primarily Google and Microsoft.) 

Core functional responsibilities include:

  • Design and implement effective organic Paid Search strategies to strengthen brand and engagement while aligning with business goals 
  • Partner with multiple internal and external stakeholders on Paid Search plans to support integrated campaigns and initiatives 
  • Manage all Paid Search channels to ensure strong coordination, improved performance and best-in class strategy 
  • Conduct analytics to gain customer and channel insights, deliver channel performance reporting, optimize Paid Search programs and perform competitor analysis
  • Manage Paid Search budgets and external vendor relationships as needed    
  • Follow trends in Paid Search tools, ideas, applications, etc. and share with the broader agency team
  • Be a leader on the team and set the tone for a collaborative, supportive work environment
  • Advise on team process and strategy, as we continue to grow our offering and refine our work product

These are the qualifications we’re looking for:

  • 6-8 years of Paid Search strategy and execution experience
  • Big picture strategic thinker, with proven ability to drive execution  
  • Conversant in Paid Search analytics, emerging formats, and automation tools (i.e. SA360,, Kenshoo)
  • Strong analytical skills to guide team on reporting insights and optimization opportunities 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as sound leadership and decision making ability 
  • Expert problem solving and issue resolution skills
  • Extremely high attention to detail, and well-organized
  • Strong verbal, writing and presentation skills 
  • Self-starter, with the ability work independently in a dynamic environment
  • A positive outlook, excited about supporting teammates to drive success as a collective
  • Experience managing high-budget and pacing to specific campaign run dates a must
  • Experience working in a regulated industries a plus
