Associate Manager, Data Management

Key Accountabilities:

Team Leadership

β€’ Ensure team delivery of high-quality project deliverables by monitoring performance

β€’ Train and mentor team according to job role expectations, acting as an SME for a functional process or account where applicable

β€’ Meet with full team on a regular basis with comprehensive communication and guidance

β€’ Conduct individual 1:1s with all staff on a regular basis

β€’ Provide leadership and effective support to project team and deliverables when supporting a project directly

Awareness around team performance and impacts to accounts team is contributing to, collaborate with Account Lead colleagues

β€’ Promptly deliver positive and constructive feedback to team members

Quality Management & Compliance

β€’ Check quality of team deliverables and proper remedial action

β€’ Ensure direct reports meet departmental and project productivity and quality metrics by efficient execution of activities

β€’ May support data collection for KPIs, Metrics, dashboards as applicable

β€’ Contribute to review of role specific training curricula – as applicable

β€’ May contribute to Parexel process documents authoring or reviewing

β€’ Maintain a working knowledge of, and assure compliance with, applicable ICH Guidelines, Good Clinical Practices, Regulatory Agency requirements and Parexel Processes

Financial & Resource Management

β€’ Ensure proper resource of team

β€’ Support team compliance and proper execution of financial reviews

β€’ Provide feedback on team financials and resourcing through collaboration with Subject Matter Experts

Initiatives & Business Development

β€’ Contribute to initiatives as time allows

β€’ Contribute to bid pursuit activities by supporting team and/or attending bid pursuit opportunities as time allows

β€’ Participate in Parexel and department system/standards improvement activities

General Activities

β€’ Maintain a positive, results orientated work environment, building partnerships and modeling teamwork, communicating to the team in an open, balanced, and objective manner

β€’ Complete routine administrative tasks in a timely manner (e.g. timesheets, metrics, travel expense claims)

Business Operations Skills:

β€’ Demonstrated ability to successfully manage a full workload across multiple projects

β€’ Experience with one or more EDC platforms (Rave, Inform, Datalabs, etc.)

β€’ Understanding of GDO tasks, specifically within Data Management and Database Programming, regulatory requirements, and data standards

Knowledge and Experience:

β€’ Work experience in similar position

β€’ Demonstrated leadership in their area of expertise

β€’ Proven record of leading project and program teams

β€’ Strong understanding of cross functional activities

β€’ Strong patient and customer service focus

β€’ Robust knowledge of ICH-GCP Guidelines, local regulatory requirements and Parexel SOPs and study specific procedures

Education:

β€’ Bachelor’s degree preferably in a science or industry- related discipline or equivalent experience.

β€’ Certification or involvement in a professional society or organization is recommended
