The Associate Manager of Project Management is responsible for innovating and leading the Professional Services Project Management team. The Associate Manager will work with the team to ensure day-to-day operations are on track, projects are successfully managed and result in customer satisfaction. They will work with the team to improve and streamline the implementation process and employ industry standards.
Essential Tasks
- Provide supervision for project team members that manage projects for implementing or existing customers
- Work with the team to continuously improve the process and build team strength
- Identify and measure key project success factors and methodology for managing customer projects which includes leveraging technology
- Monitor departmental measurements such as utilization to ensure that the team is fully utilized
- Verify daily / monthly team processes for customer communication, revenue and billing are being followed
- Foster team cooperation and communication
- Assist Manager with team decisions
- Work with Manager to identity process improvements
- Review and Address customer escalations related to customer issues or concerns
- Escalate critical customer issues to Manager
- Lead key projects as needed
- Other duties as assigned by Manager
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 6 + Project management experience
- Experience with leading teams
- Experience with Smartsheet or other project collaboration tool
- Excellent communication skills, written and oral
