As our Associate Media Financial Analyst, you will...

Be Accountable and Responsible

For obtaining vendor invoices and verifying the invoices against our planned media purchases, making sure our vendors are paid the correct amount, and collecting information to confirm that our media has run properly.

The position reports directly to our Associate Media Financial Analyst but will work closely with our media department and client finance.

  • Demonstrate good skills in written, verbal, and interpersonal communications, diligently attend to details, follow through on all business requests, and understand a sense of urgency.
  • Demonstrate the ability to appropriately communicate with and understand the functions of internal and external partners.
  • Review reports generated from proprietary media systems as well as planned vs actual reports indicating open items and vendor invoices that are ready for a cost audit process.
  • Identify invoice discrepancies (including planned costs and delivery numbers) and work with vendors, media teams, and Finance/Accounting to resolve and reconcile invoices. This includes obtaining revised invoices and credits.
  • Works with vendors to resolve aging reports due to open items. This includes missing insertion order numbers.
  • Check for open invoices submitted to the AP mailbox that has not been matched by the media teams.
  • Communicate with the Media Team and Accounting on any open-ended issues such as unmatched invoices, $0 invoices, reversal requests, coding invoices with IO numbers, credits, etc.
  • Responsible for providing detailed status comments through an invoice tracking process.
  • May require assistance from media teams during the draft billing process.
  • Must comply with Sarbannes-Oxley rules.
  • May be required to conduct media system training.

These are the qualifications we're looking for 

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience 
  • 1 to 3 years of previous experience in a related field.
  • Proven record of time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional Attitude.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
  • Experience with Strata and/or Advantage is a plus.
