Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) has an outstanding opportunity for a Production Integrated Planning & Scheduling (IP&S) Specialist (Associate or Mid-Level) - (Level 2 or Level 3) to join the F-15 IP&S organization reporting to the BDS IP&S Production Manager.
This position would have the primary responsibility to lead develop coordinate integrate analyze and maintain detailed Master Production Schedule plans for a variety of major production programs. The candidate will coordinate and communicate the status of and the actions for Master Production Schedule (MPS) projects for the respective programs.
This position will perform what-if analysis to determine impacts constraints and plans involving product development process improvement or program initiatives.
This position requires the MPS to serve as a subject matter expert to management and a special external spokesperson for the organization on major matters pertaining to its policies processes plans and objectives. The ability to provide analysis and product development initiatives for manufacturing program and support organizations will be critical.
This individual will produce metrics for plans and schedules for moderate to complex projects programs and change activities across the lifecycle of programs and projects.
The position may also lead direct facilitate and ensure integration of project/program plans and schedules horizontally and vertically across company functional product groups suppliers and partners.
The candidate must have demonstrated analytical capability and excellent communication skills with the ability to interface with managers and internal/external Boeing customers. The candidate must be proactive and work well within a team environment possibly as the scheduling lead. Flexibility initiative detail orientation ability to multi-task and willingness to learn new areas are essential requirements to successfully perform in this dynamic and exciting environment.
Position Responsibilities:
- Independently develops coordinates integrates analyzes and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards.
- Performs studies analysis (trend variance impact) risk assessments to determine impacts and constraints involving product development production rates process improvement program initiatives.
- Creates schedule reports metrics change activity communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project.
- Works to improve project management processes business systems and implement best practices that support project decision makers.
- Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion.
- Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.
- Assists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders.
Additional Responsibilities may include:
- Identify shop conflicts across various programs and communicate with the shop.
- Work with the shop to fix clocking issues.
- Work with engineers to identify possible process improvements.
- Work with other schedulers to coordinate re-fire activities.
- Knowledge of Boeing Recurring and Independent Demand Scheduling System (BRAIDSS) and E-Visuals.
- Working shop floor knowledge.
- Ability to work well with multiple teams.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen lawful permanent resident refugee or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 1+ years of experience in finance scheduling industrial engineering change management strategy program management or project management role
- 1+ years of experience in change management program planning project management integrated scheduling Industrial Engineering or Business Operations
- 1+ years of experience in team schedules resource management earned value management risk management and project management
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's Degree or higher
- Experience using Open Plan Professional
- Experience using Microsoft Project
- Experience using Milestone Professional
- 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Summary pay range:
Level 2 (Associate): $76500 - $103500
Level 3 (Mid-Level): $94350 - $127650
