The Associate Presentations Designer takes briefs from the wider Presentations team, facilitating the preparation of flawless presentations for our external clients and internal projects. The Associate Presentations Designer works to ensure high quality deliverables are produced to set timelines with a meticulous attention to detail.

Core duties

• Assists with the production of presentations, following house styles, brand guidelines, and QC procedures under the direction of the wider presentations team
• Takes verbal or written briefs on projects, ensuring 100% clarity and understanding
• Works in close collaboration with other members of the Presentations team
• Takes ownership of allocated tasks, ensuring consistency and quality of slides
• Works within a product’s brand guidelines under guidance of wider presentations team
• Assists with the development of presentations for use in live conference meetings, scientific events, new business initiatives and internal communications
• Produces graphics for presentations using appropriate software
• Uses animation, transitions, and interactivity features to develop effective presentations

Education, work experience and skills

• Certificate of further education in Art/Design or related field preferred
• Highly proficient in PowerPoint and experienced in other MS Office applications
• Knowledge of other core programs; Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat Professional
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines
• Ability to work collaboratively, as part of a team
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interest in visual communication
• Willingness to learn new presentations related applications and undertake further training as required
