POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Revit Drafter to join our team. As a Revit Drafter, you will play a crucial role in the development and creation of architectural designs and construction documents using the Autodesk Revit software. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and other design professionals to produce accurate and high-quality 3D models and technical drawings.

WHAT YOU WILL DO: 

• Utilize Autodesk Revit software to create and develop 3D models, architectural plans, sections, and elevations based on design specifications and guidelines.

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure accurate representation of design concepts and intent in Revit models.

• Assist in the coordination and integration of various disciplines' models (MEP, structural, etc.) into the overall project model.

• Create and modify families, templates, and libraries to improve efficiency and maintain consistency across projects.

• Conduct regular quality checks on Revit models and drawings to ensure compliance with project standards, building codes, and industry best practices.

• Generate detailed construction documents, including plans, sections, elevations, schedules, and details, for various stages of the design process.

• Coordinate with project team members to incorporate revisions, design changes, and other modifications into the Revit models and drawings.

• Stay up to date with the latest software updates, advancements, and industry trends related to Revit and BIM (Building Information Modeling).

• Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and project stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliverables.

• Assist in the training and mentoring of junior drafters on Revit best practices and techniques.

 WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED: 

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit software is essential. Experience with other BIM software such as AutoCAD, Navisworks, or Dynamo is a plus.

• Solid understanding of architectural and construction principles, terminology, and documentation standards.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and error-free drawings and models.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet project deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently with minimal supervision.

• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to identify and resolve design-related issues.

• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey design concepts and ideas to team members and project stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in architecture, engineering, drafting, or a related field is preferred.

• Previous experience as a Revit Drafter or in a similar role is highly desirable.

• Professional certifications in Revit or BIM will be considered a plus.
