OurWalters & Wolf Interiorsis actively hiring anAutomatic Door Installer & Technicianin Fremont, California. Successful candidates will possess the following responsibilities: • Repair, install, and adjust automatic swinging and sliding commercial doors. • Troubleshooting and repair of commercial door hardware and access control systems. • Detail-oriented to accurately complete necessary paperwork, including work orders, quality assurance check sheets, and walk the customer through the services rendered on each job. • Maintain good customer relations and customer service. • Basic power tools will be provided. • Must be an excellent problem solver and critical thinker. • Must be an active member of the Carpenters Union or be willing to join. • Base pay range is based on the Carpenters Union Wage Scale. • Must have at least2years’ experiencein the commercial door industry. • Must haveAADM certificationand/or working experience with automatic doors, storefront doors, and electrified hardware. • Must be knowledgeable in electrical wiring and understand the theory of integrating into card access systems. • Must be able to read blueprints or schematics • Must be able to use power and hand tools safely and effectively. • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach above head with hands and arms, lift, push, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl, pull, talk and hear. • The employee must lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. • Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
