Your Role and Responsibilities
Join a first-class software engineering product development team to design code test and deliver software supporting and enhancing one of IBM’s most successful enterprise-level cloud solutions using AI techniques and traditional software development methodologies. As a DevOps Engineer you will act as bridge between IT operations DevOps QA and Development teams. Ensures a reliable system by solving reporting and coordinating gaps. You will continuously improve upon by automating processes and building new SaaS solutions. Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 3+ years experience as DevOps or Site Reliability Engineer
• Know your way around source and project control tools (GitHub Enterprise ZenHub Jira)
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java NodeJS or Golang preferred)
• Proficiency in scripting/automation using Python Ansible Terraform Bash etc.
• Hands on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Hands on experience with observability tools (Instana Nagios New Relic LogDNA)
• Hands on experience with Continuous Integration platforms (Jenkins TeamCity Travis CI)

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Mastery of at least one programming language (Java NodeJS or Golang preferred)
• Strong expertise with Continuous Integration platforms (Jenkins Terraform TeamCity Travis CI)
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process including strong expertise building REST APIs
