Body Shop Estimator-Assistant Production Mgr
Job Description
Moppert Brothers is looking to add a dynamic dependable Auto Collision Production Assistant Manager to our team. This position will support our Production Manager in the day to day operations of the body shop production. The ideal candidate will have strong exceptional leadership skills with a customer focused mindset and a passion for the collision industry.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Uphold follow and promote company policies and procedures. Fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Communicate effectively with customers as required, along with insurance company partners and vendors.
- Assist in managing the workflow within the collision shop from scheduling to repairing to delivering on time results.
- Attaining and maintaining positive insurance company score card results.
- Training shop estimators
- Ordering parts and materials as needed
- Overseeing all aspects of the Parts Department to ensure parts are received, inventoried, distributed and returned according to company policies.
- Accurate repair estimate writing keeping supplements within insurance company policy.
- Ensuring all estimates are in compliance with each insurance companies guidelines to ensure proper payment to the company for work performed.
-Maintain accurate records of estimates, repairs, and customer interactions
- Collaborate with insurance companies to process claims efficiently
Experience:
The ideal candidate must have experience or knowledge in the following areas:
-Auto Collision Repair
-Body Shop experience
- Suspension systems
- Air brake systems
- Automotive service and repair
- Service writing
- Sales techniques in an automotive setting
- Diesel engine repair knowledge is a plus
- Tire service experience
- Cash handling procedures
- Auto service management background is beneficial
- Mechanical aptitude

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
