WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a seasoned marketeer to become the Women's Football Brand Manager for the Asia Pacific Latin America (APLA) Geography. This role is based at Nike World Headquarters, in Beaverton, Oregon.

This role is primarily focused on Football (soccer), within the Women's Consumer Brand Marketing Sport Performance team.

As the APLA Women's Performance/Football Brand Manager you will be responsible for building and delivering strategic brand plans that strengthen consumer relationships, fuel daily brand engagement and grow the business across our varied markets.

The candidate should have a strong cultural awareness and global sport savvy, understand the unique landscape of women's football performance and football culture, and have a passion for sport at large. You should be a self starter, comfortable with ambiguity and be ready to dig in.

You can drive work forward autonomously, and work collaboratively to lead multiple projects with strong working relationships across a matrixed organization. You bring a digital first mentality, strategic vision, and a general understanding of all functions of marketing. You are solution oriented and curious to learn, a team first collaborator with the confidence to make decisions, and an energy giving, empathetic teammate.

If this is you, you'll be working with the APLA Brand Management team to define annual and seasonal brand plans that serve the needs of the athlete*, transform sport, and advance the world!

With a digital first approach, your plans and strategies will be informed by consumer insights and membership data developed in partnership with city insights and global marketing teams. You'll develop key consumer journeys partnering with product merchandising and marketplace teams to align on market demands and allocations. You'll serve as the conduit between Global and Territory teams, setting strategies that pay off a global vision and champion our territory nuances. The outcome of your plans will drive new consumers into our ecosystem and keep them engaged - ultimately, making sport* a daily habit.

You'll be an integral member of the APLA team setting the comprehensive World Cup 23 strategy, driving and implementing marketing plans that have a long-lasting impact for our consumers, Athletes and marketplace. You'll work hand in hand with the Men's Football team to establish a 365 sustainable offering as we reestablish our approach and working model for football in the geography.

As part of the Women's Marketing team, you'll partner with key dimension teammates to support and integrate with other priorities including bras, leggings, dance and fitness. While your focus will be on Women's Football, this role will work as part of a cross-gender team (including Men's Football, Running, Fitness) to collectively build the future of sport for athletes* across APLA, through a unified Sport Performance plan.

Finally, you will oversee a working relationship with brand teams across 6 territories: Japan, Korea, Mexico, Southeast Asia & India, Pacific and Central & South America.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 4-5+ years of experience in Brand, Digital, Direct or Sports Marketing
  • Deep understanding of digital platforms
  • Passion for Sport and the role it can play in the world
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proven track record to drive strategic vision, ensure follow-through and deliver results
  • Ability to collaborate and build strong, positive relationships
  • Inspired, teammate mentality to add energy and thrive in times of ambiguity
  • Self-starter demeanor with agile thinking and a solution-oriented approach
  • Analytical skills to capture and apply business & consumer insights
  • Empathy, with an eagerness to learn and understand diverse teams, cultures, consumers and markets
