Your Role and Responsibilities
The Technology Lifecycle Services (TLS) Brand Sales Specialists (BSS) are responsible for selling Services for IBM and Multi-vendor products directly to customers as well as renewing existing services business in these areas. They will be focused on winning business in their defined territory which will include a specific set of clients in the Public market.

The BSS will be responsible for annual contract value signings (net new and renewal) revenue attainment and client satisfaction for the territory. The TLS portfolio includes hardware and software maintenance technical support and project-based services for IBM and Non-IBM brands. The BSS should be able to communicate and establish relationships with new contacts and new accounts. Will be responsible for opportunity identification opportunity progression closing the sale and generating the contracts required for the offerings.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Extensive demonstrable IT sales experience
  • Strong sales skills (negotiation deal progression pipeline management etc.)
  • Strong business development and hunting skills
  • Demonstrated communication and presentation skills in a customer facing environment
  • Demonstrated proficiency in cold calling building relationships and winning new clients


Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Sales experience in the Public Market (State & Local government Healthcare Education etc.)
  • Experienced in selling Technical Support and Infrastructure Support solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex/new situations anticipate potential problems assess opportunities and mitigate risks in the development of solutions .
  • Proficient in Microsoft office applications(Excel Power Point Word)
