In this critical role, you will act as a bridge between business needs and technical solutions, analyzing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and driving data-driven decisions to support organizational goals. The Business Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide actionable insights, and contribute to the development of efficient workflows and strategies.Â
What You Will Do
- Work with stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate business and system requirements.Â
- Analyze business processes and performance data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.Â
- Develop and recommend solutions to enhance workflows, increase efficiency, and achieve business objectives.Â
- Partner with operations, IT, and other departments to ensure project alignment and successful implementation of initiatives.Â
- Create clear and comprehensive documentation, including process maps, business requirements, user stories, and reports.Â
- Support quality assurance efforts by defining testing criteria and validating solutions to meet business needs.Â
- Build and present dashboards or reports using tools like Excel, Power BI, or other analytics platforms to communicate insights and results to leadership.Â
- Monitor implemented solutions to ensure ongoing effectiveness and identify further optimization opportunities.Â
What You NeedÂ
At Synapse Health we’ve intentionally built a culture of kindness, collaboration and creativity, and we consider those qualities to be table stakes for any new team member. In addition, this role requires:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.Â
- 3+ years in a business analyst or similar role, preferably in healthcare, call center, logistics or a related industry.Â
- Experience with process mapping, business requirements gathering, and data analysis.Â
- Proficiency with tools like Excel, SQL, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Sigma, Snowflake, Power BI, Tableau).Â
- Strong understanding of workflow design and business process improvement methodologies.Â
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset.Â
- Experience working with enterprise systems such as ERP or CRM platforms.Â
- Lean Sigma certification preferred – Yellow or Green Belt.Â
 What Sets You Apart
- Knowledge of the healthcare or durable medical equipment (DME) industry.Â
- Familiarity with project management methodologies like Agile or Scrum.Â
- A demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.Â
- Passion for leveraging technology and data to improve business outcomes.Â

- Professional growth opportunities with compelling career paths
- Healthy work-life balance culture with paid time off (PTO)
