Requirements

The Job: Business Analyst

We’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst for our range of software applications focused on the Private Capital sector i.e. Private Equity, Venture Capital, Real Estate and Wealth Advisory markets.

To be successful in this role, you’ll have a strong understanding of the Private Capital sector and bring subject matter expertise to help us shape our products to meet the needs of this demanding and exciting vertical. This is a must have for this role.
Responsibilities for this role include:

• Engaging with clients and prospective clients to understand their needs and where appropriate support sales engagements
• Capturing and documenting key client processes / key requirements to ensure that the desired objectives of our clients and prospects are understood and accurate, and that all stakeholders are in sync / agreed with the documented requirements.
• Bridging the gap between the client or prospects needs, and the product management and engineering resources that will define and deliver the technical solution
• Capturing and documenting key process flows in the client or prospects business. This will be used to highlight opportunities for improvement, and to support complete visibility of all processes end-to-end.
• Supporting or Sales team in the creation of business case propositions for our prospects and clients
• Maintaining a strong knowledge of best practice in the Private Capital Markets as it relates to key functions such as Investor Relations, General Partners, Fund Administrators, Wealth Advisory firms
• Supporting User Acceptance testing, to ensure that the business requirements captured and agreed with our clients have been reviewed and accepted / signed off
• The ability to influence key stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions to meet their project objectives
• Excellent documentation skills
• Working with our Product Management / Design / UX / UI team to support our efforts to build beautiful and ‘Delightful’ products for our customers
• Creating and publishing JIRA Epics and Stories for allocation to our Engineering team
• Maintaining a strong working knowledge of regulatory compliance in the Alts / Private Capital sector
• Answer product related inquiries as part of RFP / RFI or ITT’s
• Prior experience of Salesforce.com and Asana are a strong plus but not pre-requisites
• Proficiency with the Atlassian Suite of Products is highly desirable (JIRA, Confluence)
