Position Specific Description

In this position you will be responsible for working on cross-functional projects and support Billing and Payment operations to drive impactful change by reducing costs, increasing operational efficiency and driving adoption of electronic billing and payment options. Projects vary greatly in scope and complexity requiring employee to perform various functions from defining requirements, troubleshooting, test development and execution to project management. The role requires the ability to synthesize business requirements, adapt to Agile program development methodology and develop and execute test plans. You will be expected to offer design recommendations as well as present outcomes and design ideas to direct supervisor as well as upper management. In addition to working with other teams in Customer Service, this role collaborates heavily with IT for research, automation and system enhancements. Candidate must have advanced analytical experience and solid written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities are complex and vary in nature; these include:

  • Lead requirements gathering and coordination between internal customers and external vendors
  • Assists with process design and modifications to support projects
  • Validate and analyze different aspects of the Billing and Payment Options (BPO) operation for trending, variance and Ad-Hoc review to improve business outcomes
  • Use knowledge of business processes to identify interdependencies and functional gaps
  • Conduct analysis and prepare reports that provide operation and/or technical support to business operations
  • Creates and communicates presentation materials for report out and updates with various levels of internal and external stakeholders
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

The ideal candidate should have:

  • 3+ years of business experience--particularly within Customer Service or Information Technology is preferred
  • Preferred Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science or other business discipline with a technical inclination
  • Top-notch analytical skills, including data mining, evaluation, analysis, and visualization
  • Seeking proficiency in SQL for efficient database querying and data manipulation
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel and ensure timely execution, follow-up and delivery
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Customer service mindset
  • Professional proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
