What you'll do:
NinjaTrader is seeking a motivated and results-oriented Business Development Manager to grow and expand our Vendor Program in the German market. Reporting to the Manager of Business Development you will play a key role in onboarding and cultivating partnerships with vendors enhancing their visibility within the NinjaTrader Ecosystem and driving platform adoption. By driving new vendors to join the Ecosystem you will directly support the expansion of new users on the NinjaTrader platform and contribute to the continued growth of our global trading community. This position is ideal for someone with a strong sales background excellent German language skills and knowledge of the trading or commodity futures industry.
In this role you will:
- Identify and pursue inbound sales opportunities while actively conducting outbound prospecting efforts to attract high-quality vendors to the NinjaTrader Ecosystem ultimately supporting the expansion of new users on the NinjaTrader platform
- Guide new vendors through our comprehensive onboarding process including compliance checks quality assurance testing and facilitating a seamless handoff to Vendor Support post-approval
- Build and maintain strong long-term partnerships with vendors to support mutual growth and foster increased platform adoption
- Provide ongoing communication and proactive support to progress new vendors through the onboarding process and to ensure the satisfaction of existing vendors
- Collaborate with the Vendor Relations team to coordinate webinar events sponsored advertising and other promotional opportunities for vendors
- Participate in weekly Vendor Support Team meetings and provide updates on vendor progress and compliance matters
- Leverage Claude AI alongside Salesforce and Confluence to manage daily tasks automate reporting surface insights on vendor activity and track progress with greater speed and accuracy
What you'll need:
- Fluency in German with strong verbal and written communication skills essential for success in this role
- In-depth familiarity with the German market and an understanding of industry trends
- Minimum of two years of experience in business development sales or a related field
- Exceptional communication negotiation and interpersonal skills with a proactive results-oriented hunter mentality
- Familiarity with the NinjaTrader platform preferred and experience with Salesforce advantageous
- Knowledge of the commodity futures industry or trading highly preferred
- Proven capability to work effectively with multiple teams including Compliance Marketing Sales Support Product Management and the Executive team
- Strong project management capabilities with excellent time management and organizational skills
- A polished and professional demeanor when interacting with vendors and industry partners
- A self-starter mindset with a strong sense of urgency and drive to grow the NinjaTrader Ecosystem
Compensation:
The salary range for this role will be $44000.00 - $76000.00 USD. In addition this position will also receive an annual target bonus of 4%. Bonus pay at NinjaTrader is based on individual performance (50%) as well as company/team performance (50%).
Salary and bonus earnings are only two components of the total compensation package offered by NinjaTrader. NinjaTrader offers a 401K plan through ADP under which the company will match up to 3.5% of employee contributions. Annual paid time off allowance accrues at a rate of 18 days per year (some positions may qualify for more) plus seven paid holidays.

This role is based in Chicago IL. We are not open to remote candidates for this role
Hybrid:
For Chicago-based employees we follow a hybrid work schedule: In-office Tuesday through Thursday with remote work on Mondays and Fridays. In addition to these weekly remote days we offer:
- 20 additional flex remote days annually
- 5 Company Wide Office-Optional weeks tied to major holidays
